Where Tradition meets Elegance
Our house is 65-years old and the two guest rooms are completely made of hard wood. The cool interiors make air-conditioning redundant. Each room has custom-made double cots, a table and chair along with a chest of drawers. Attached to the master bedroom, is a spare room, to use either as a play area or bedroom

Pappachan’s House – Discover the true essence of Kerala
The words ‘Athidhi devo bhava’ have special significance in the culture of India. It literally means ‘The Guest is God’. My family and I enjoy hosting people from different parts of the world and helping them experience the true culture of our land, Kerala. Ours is a tradition of warm hospitality and that's why we decided to provide home-stay for those who prefer homely and peaceful ambience during their holidays.
Our home is located in Moonnilavu, a small village in the central part of Kerala. The house is surrounded by a bountiful farm in which we cultivate a variety of spices, vegetables and fruits.
Built in the traditional way, there are two spacious rooms containing adequate amenities for guests. |

In and around...
Whether it is roaming through the mountains, sitting or fishing by the rivers, strolling through the valleys, admiring the tall trees, fruit & vegetables, there is so much to do.
There are a number of tourist attractions, which are short drives away from Moonnilavu. Many of them are little known and hence un-ravaged by man. But they are nonetheless very scenic and a must see for all guests.

Enjoy our ethnic food …
The kitchen is run by my mother and she involves herself in everything, right from sourcing the vegetables, meat, fish and poultry. Her passion for cooking manifests itself into the delicious spread we enjoy everyday. Guests can get a taste of authentic Central Travancore cuisine at our dining table.
